Most clients experience smooth skin for three to six weeks, depending on hair growth rate and personal hormones. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and make hairs finer; schedule maintenance appointments every 4-6 weeks for consistent results and optimal skin condition.

You may feel brief discomfort or stinging during hair removal, but waxing is quick and the sensation subsides rapidly. Our technicians use gentle techniques, high-quality wax, and calming aftercare to minimize pain. Numbing creams can be used if you are particularly sensitive.

Allow hair to grow to about a quarter-inch so wax can grip properly. Avoid exfoliating 24-48 hours before, skip heavy retinoids, and arrive with clean, product-free skin. Inform us of medications or recent treatments that could affect sensitivity.

Mild redness, tenderness, and small bumps are common and usually resolve within 24-48 hours. Apply soothing aloe or our post-wax calming lotion, avoid sun exposure, and skip intense skincare or exfoliation for a few days to reduce irritation and protect healing skin.

Topical retinoids and some medications increase skin sensitivity and risk of damage. We advise pausing retinoids seven to ten days before waxing and always disclose medications. If unsure, consult your prescribing clinician and inform your technician so we can recommend the safest approach.

Most clients return every four to six weeks depending on personal hair growth. We'll recommend a personalized schedule during your appointment based on regrowth speed and skin response. Consistent waxing can gradually lengthen intervals between sessions.
